Marataízes is on the South coast of the State, it borders with the towns of Itapemirim and President Kennedy. Leaving from the capital Victoria is about 130 km by BR-101 and ES-487.
Temperatures are typical of tropical climate with maximum between 28° C and 30° C, minimum stay and average 15° C. The small and lovely town attracts tourists year-round, but is on vacation season that occurs the greater movement.
